Which type file should you download? The .wav files are native to Windows, while the .aif files are native to Apple/Mac machines. However, there are applications available for each platform that can play both types of files. Because the .wav files are compressed better than the .aif files, we can put up a higher quality .wav sound file that is actually smaller than its comparable .aif file. All this to say if you're using Windows, get the .wav file. If you're using an Apple/Mac and have an application that can play .wav files, get the .wav file; otherwise get the .aif file. If you're using something else, get an application that can read .wav files or .aif files. If you have any problems listening to any of these files, let us know.
